I. Objective
The assignment develops the students’ skills in basic calculations used in
Financial services.

III. Policy on Plagiarism
• The School operates the principle that both the plagiarised and the plagiariser are equally guilty. Students are therefore responsible for ensuring that their work is not plagiarised, and note that this includes ensuring that any work stored on the departmental and/or university computer systems is suitably protected.
• Note that the school reserves the right to exact any penalties which are in accordance with the University's code of practice on plagiarism.
• The School has its own set of regulations concerning plagiarism. The Department takes this issue very seriously, and students should note that on occasions in the past some very serious penalties have indeed been applied, including reduction of module mark to zero, and overall reduction of degree class.
• Additionally: Plagiarizing any part of the assignment will result in getting a ZERO in the whole assignment.
IV. Assignment
Your assignment is to research and define a project for a School Library System. The project is based over an 18-month period. You should prepare the following:
1. A Work Breakdown Structure (see additional notes 1.)
2. Produce a Total Budget for Resources (see additional notes 2.)
3. Prepare a Risk Register for the system (see additional notes 3.)

(1) Work Breakdown Structure:
· In addition to your WBS, you should include a list of all tasks to be performed within the project in the form. of work packages.
· Using the list of staff in notes 2, assign responsibilities to the work packages.
(2) Resources:
Staff costs
· 1 x Project Manager, salary £80,000 per annum. Seconded to the project on an 80% basis.
· 1 x Applications Architect, salary £62,000 per annum. Seconded to the project on a full-time basis.
· 2 x Cloud/Software Applications Engineers, both salaries £55,000 each per annum. Seconded to the project on a full-time.
· 2 x Quality Assurance Tester, salary £52,000 each. Seconded to the project on a 75% basis.
· 1 x IT Training Consultant, salary £42,000 per annum. Seconded to the project on a 75% basis.
Technical equipment
· 1 x Cloud Server: £65,000
· 1 x Web Server: £45,000
· 1 x Database Server: £28,000
· 8 x Desktop computers: £625.00 each
Software
· 9 x Licenses £3,500 each
(3) Risk Register:
· Your risk register should include at least three different types of risks.
· Your risk register should include an appropriate individual who is responsible for managing the risk.
· For each risk explain sow the likelihood and impact.
