Assignment 1: Sustainable food system
Estimate the viability of sustainable food system in three models
Choose three of the operating models (Palopuro, Soilfood, Qvidja, Kirkkokallion energiapuisto, Sybimar, Yhteinen Pöytä) designed to promote sustainable food production. Alternatively, you can choose two of these models and include one that you have found yourself as the third. Read source materials on the different models that you have been given or that you have found to get a clear picture of each. After watching the video lecture by Juha Helenius, during which he defines the sustainable food system, complete the two tasks listed below.
Subtask 1: Assess the sustainability of the three models intended for the promotion of the sustainability of food production that you have selected. Use the symbols listed below the matrix for the assessment. Fill in one column for each of the models (cases).

Subtask 2: List the substances/materials that are recycled in the models. Consider how the recycling is implemented and consider different possibilities for more effective recycling in the models/cases you assess. Length: 300-500 words
